A strong westerly wind dominated throughout the day. Rain fell during the morning, later giving way to sunny conditions.
Twenty-nine Sandwich Tern flew south on the sea watch, whilst 23 Fulmar flew north.
A single Reed Warbler was at Thornwick Pools. Two Golden Plover in the North Stubbles were unseasonal. A Gadwall was on North Marsh, with a Tufted Duck over. Two Barnacle Geese flew south over North Landing, before alighting in fields to the south. A single Spotted Flycatcher was in Holmes Gut.
