Winds remained light and variable during the day, with sunshine and temperatures that reached 22 degrees C. During the seawatch, a Red-throated Diver flew north, a Manx Shearwater did the same, 70 Common Scoters headed south and a Bonxie was offshore.
Thornwick Pools attracted a Grey Heron and a pair of Little Ringed Plovers, whilst Buckton Pond hosted a Greenshank and another Grey Heron, with a Common Buzzard in the same area. A Siskin visited feeders in a garden on the Outer Head.
