2nd July 2015

The day featured a light west-south-southerly wind, sunny intervals and temperatures of 22 degrees C. During the seawatch, eight Manx Shearwaters flew south and six moved north; also moving south were three Teal, 199 Common Scoters, three Whimbrel, a Bonxie and a Little Gull. Another Bonxie and a Whimbrel lingered in the vicinity of South Landing and a Hobby also flew south.

Thornwick Pools attracted an Oystercatcher, Little Ringed Plover and a Grey Heron, whilst a Greenshank flew over. Elsewhere, a Siskin was present at South Landing.

The Greenshank also remained at Buckton Pond.
