Light northerly winds and a generally overcast day. During the seawatch, a Great Crested Grebe flew north, together with 49 Manx Shearwaters and 103 Common Scoters. Southbound waders included 11 Oystercatchers, a Knot, one Dunlin, a Whimbrel and one Greenshank. Two Pomarine Skuas moved north, with two Arctic Skuas (also one south), three Bonxies, whilst a Little Gull moved south and eight Arctic Terns went north.
Elsewhere, the pair of adult Shelduck and three of the juveniles left Thornwick Pools; the former having chased virtually everything off the Pool since spring. Two White Wagtails were present near the Lighthouse, with eight Siskins also recorded.
