Very strong northerly winds and generally overcast skies after a foggy start resulted in difficult birding conditions. The pair of Garganey and drake Teal remained on Thornwick Pools, with two Garden Warblers in South Landing the only passerine migrants.
West of the Dykes, a creamcrown Marsh Harrier flew south over Bempton village.
