An overcast start to a relatively bright day, with moderate westerly winds and lower temperatures that peaked at six degrees C. Water Lane continued to host the White-fronted Goose, whilst a Long-tailed Duck was on the sea near Cattlemere. The Water Rail re-appeared on the ‘motorway’ near the Lighthouse and the Jack Snipe continued to show at Thornwick Pools. Passerine interest included a Mistle Thrush on Church Lane and two Goldcrests at South Landing.
West of the Dykes, 20 Red-throated Divers were on the sea off Buckton, where there were seven Song Thrush on Hoddy Cows Lane.
