20th January 2018

An overcast day, with light south-south-west winds and temperatures reaching three degrees C. During the seawatch, two Blue Fulmars lingered offshore and 11 Purple Sandpipers frequented rocks below the Fog Station.

The two Brent Geese remained at South Landing, six White-fronted Geese frequented fields near North Marsh, whilst a female Long-tailed Duck was on the sea off nearby Breil Nook. The Richard’s Pipit continued to show well in the north-western corner of the Golf Course.
