An overcast morning, with a moderate south-south-easterly wind before a belt of rain early afternoon. Seawatching highlights included the following moving south: two Shoveler, two Red-throated Divers, 28 Oystercatchers, a Grey Plover, seven Black-tailed Godwits, 26 Redshank, a Green Sandpiper, ten Turnstone, 158 Knot, eight Sanderling and 14 Dunlin. Heading north were a single Balearic Shearwater, 317 Sandwich Terns and an Arctic Skua, whilst 120 Common Scoters were off South Landing. Thornwick Pools hosted five Black-tailed Godwits, a Ringed Plover, one Redshank and a Dunlin.

Bempton Cliffs RSPB hosted a Cuckoo.
