Light/moderate south-west winds, sunny intervals and heavy showers featured throughout the day. During the seawatch, 53 Common Scoter, 119 Sandwich Terns, ten Common Terns, an Arctic Tern, a Bonxie and two Arctic Skuas flew north. Elsewhere, a Little Grebe and eight Dunlin visited Thornwick Pools, with two Green Sandpipers on Beacon Hill.
West of the Dykes, two Marsh Harriers and a Whinchat were present at Buckton.
