A moderate southerly reduced to a gentle south-easterly with cloud and rain showers throughout. Out at sea, a single Red-throated Diver and Great Skua headed south and two Sandwich and three Common Terns moved north.
On land a Hawfinch made a brief appearance in a village garden, the Short-eared Owl was hunting over the golf course and Thornwick Pools hosted a Jack Snipe, two Little Ringed Plover, two Dunlin and two Common Sandpiper.
