Thick fog engulfed the headland for most of the morning though cleared as sunshine broke through leaving an afternoon of sunny spells and a light south-westerly. As such, seawatching efforts afforded very little reward.

The day’s highlight came in the form of a Honey Buzzard which drifted west over the village late morning. Thornwick Pools still held two Dunlin, two Little Ringed Plover and a Common Sandpiper.
