The weather consisted moderate south-westerly winds and sunny intervals. During the seawatch, five Mute Swans flew past the Fog Station, three Shelduck, a Tufted Duck and three Manx Shearwaters moved south, with a Red-throated Diver heading north.

The Pink-footed Goose remained in residence, whilst a Little Egret spent much of the day on pools alongside Water Lane. Four Common Buzzards were present and a creamcrown Marsh Harrier overflew the Lighthouse. a first-summer Mediterranean Gull flew west into Bridlington Bay and two Short-eared Owls frequented the Headland. Other sightings included two Whimbrel, two Jays, a male White Wagtail, a Wheatear, one Redwing and three Siskin.
