The day featured moderate north-westerly winds and sunny conditions. During the seawatch, a Red-throated Diver flew north, seven Shelduck went south, along with 71 Common Scoters (with 36 north), 13 Oystercatchers, two Whimbrel, one Arctic Skua and a Bonxie, whilst 21 Sandwich Terns flew north.
Thornwick Pools attracted a Grey Heron and a Grey Wagtail. Elsewhere, a Black Redstart frequented the Outer Head, the Grasshopper Warbler was again singing near Oceanview and two Siskins were near the Fog Station.
Two Dunlin were on Buckton Pond.
