A relatively overcast day, with moderate/strong northerly winds. Seawatch highlights included 93 Common Scoters, 31 Oystercatchers and four Bonxies flying south, with two Tufted Ducks, 44 Manx Shearwaters and an Arctic Skua heading north. Thornwick Pools attracted a Black-tailed Godwit, a Redshank, one Green Sandpiper, a Dunlin and a Little Ringed Plover. Meanwhile, six Whimbrel flew south(-east) over RSPB Bempton Cliffs.
