The weather consisted of light north-west winds and sunny intervals following an overcast morning. During the seawatch, 43 Common Scoters, 63 Manx Shearwaters, 21 Sandwich Terns, nine Arctic Terns and two Arctic Skuas; four Bonxies also remained offshore. The Green Sandpiper lingered at Thornwick Pools and a Marsh Harrier frequented the cliff top between Speeton and Buckton.
A minimum of two White-letter Hairstreak butterflies were present in South Dykes and a Marbled White was located at Oceanview.
