Overcast skies book-ended brighter weather during the middle of the day, with light/moderate northerly winds throughout. Seawatching highlights included 26 Teal, a drake Pochard, 129 Common Scoters, two Red-throated Divers, 53 Manx Shearwaters, four Curlew, three Bar-tailed Godwits, eight Little Gulls, 12 Sandwich Terns, 29 Arctic Terns and three Bonxies flying north. A further 94 Common Scoters, 13 Oystercatchers, six Whimbrel, a Common tern and 13 Arctic Terns headed south. Elsewhere, Thornwick Pools attracted two Green Sandpipers.
