A mainly overcast day with the wind north to west force 3 and a low temperature of 12c.

A three hour seawatch in the morning and a one hour late afternoon recorded three Eider north, nine Common Scoter south, 85 Fulmar north, including six Blue Fulmars (ie. dark morph), eight Manx Shearwater north, 22 Sandwich Tern south (and 17 north) and Common Tern one north and one south.

A Hobby flew over Oceanview in the morning.

A male Tufted Duck was on the Pony Field Pond and a Little Ringed Plover on Thornwick Pools. Passerines included two Willow Warbler, one Chiffchaff, five Blackcap, two Sedge Warbler and one Reed Warbler, one Garden Warbler and a Spotted Flycatcher.
