It was a relatively dull day, with light rain and a gentle south-easterly breeze. Seawatch records included five Manx Shearwaters, 25 Sandwich Terns and four Common Terns.
A Tufted Duck visited the pond at Highcliffe Manor, with a Short-eared Owl also recorded. Passerine migrants included a late Fieldfare at Oceanview and lone Pied and Spotted Flycatchers.
