A cloudy start gave way to another sunny afternoon. Wind was a moderate south westerly initially, before veering north westerly. A drake Garganey flew north just after 8am with 13 Teal, representing the days highlight. A further 11 Teal passed during the remainder of the sea watch, along with 2 Eider, 122 Common Scoter, 1 Red-throated Diver, 1 Manx Shearwater, 1 Whimbrel, 107 Sandwich Tern, 3 Arctic Tern, 1 Bonxie, 1 Arctic Skua and 2 juvenile Mediterranean Gull.
At Bempton; passage included a Marsh Harrier and 2 Redpoll north west, a juvenile Yellow-legged Gull and 2 Manx Shearwater south east.
