A day of sunny intervals, light onshore winds and temperatures that reached 13 degrees C. During the seawatch, 184 Common Scoters, 35 Manx Shearwaters, a Whimbrel, 21 Sandwich Terns and a Common Tern flew north.
Land-based records of interest included a Quail calling near the Golf Course, a creamcrown Marsh Harrier, two Ringed Plovers, a Little Ringed Plover, four Dunlin, a Tree Pipit at Old Fall and two Siskin.
