A moderate south-south-west wind and bright conditions soon changed to a stronger southerly and rain. Five Whooper Swans flew south, with a dark-bellied Brent Goose heading south, 204 Shag, five Gadwall again south, 55 Teal flying south, a juvenile Pomarine Skua south and 11 Little Gulls. Twenty-four Purple Sandpipers were on the Outer Head, where two Twite were also present.

Thornwick Pool hosted the Little Grebe, a Wigeon, five Teal, five Snipe, two Dunlin and a Water Rail.

The highlight was the relocation of the first-winter Citrine Wagtail feeding on flies on the mass of seaweed on South Dykes beach. The Water Pipit was still present on South Landing beach, with Grey Wagtails noted at both sites and another present in the village.

At Buckton 3 Short-eared Owls, Little Grebe still on the village pond  and 5 Whooper Swans flew east over the sea.
