Strong north-westerly winds persisted with another overcast and cold day, with mist and drizzle periodically. Seawatching produced 27 Common Scoters, a Red-throated Diver, one Great Northern Diver, 403 Fulmar, 19 Manx Shearwaters and 1122 Puffins flying north.
Two Red-breasted Merganser, five Teal and a Great Crested Grebe sheltered in the Bay, with the drake Shoveler remaining on Thornwick Pools. A Hobby flew over Old Fall Plantation, a single Snipe was more unseasonal, whilst two Spotted Flycatchers were located on the Outer Head.
