Blustery west-south-west winds brought heavy showers during the morning, with sunny intervals later. Seawatching was rewarded by 350 Pink-footed Geese, five Teal, two Eider, 17 Common Scoter, 33 Red-throated Divers, two juvenile Yellow-legged Gulls, a Mediterranean Gull and two Arctic Skuas moving south. A creamcrown Marsh Harrier flew south over the headland, while three Swifts remained. Passerine interest included 20 Goldcrests, the Cetti’s Warbler still at South Landing, two Yellow-browed Warblers (outer head & South Landing), 33 Chiffchaffs, seven Willow Warblers, a Common Whitethroat, two Lesser Whitethroat, four Blackcap, a Pied Flycatcher, two Stonechats, a Whinchat, five Wheatear, a Grey Wagtail, two Siskin and 36 Yellowhammers. 

Sightings from RSPB Bempton Cliffs included 44 Pink-footed Geese, five Golden Plover and a Swift south, 15 Goldcrests, a Yellow-browed Warbler, ten Chiffchaffs, a Willow Warbler, five Blackcaps, one Stonechat, a Pied Flycatcher and three Spotted Flycatchers.
