It was a generally overcast day after a foggy start, with light south-easterly winds. Thornwick Pools attracted two Dunlin and a Whimbrel flew over Old Fall.
The day’s highlight was a singing Icterine Warbler in Old Fall. Additional migrants included two Garden Warblers, two Willow Warblers, a Spotted Flycatcher and two Yellow Wagtails.
West of the Dykes, Garden Warbler and Spotted Flycatcher were trapped at Buckton, where there was also a Cuckoo.
