The weather consisted of north-easterly winds and sunny skies. Seawatching was quiet, with four Eiders flying south. A juvenile Glaucous Gull rested on fields near North Marsh; presumably the same bird had gone north and south earlier past Bempton Cliffs RSPB.

A Waxwing appeared in willows near the Golf Course and a White Wagtail was also new. Spring’s second Wheatear made landfall, whilst a Corn Bunting flew south over the Golf Course.

West of the Dykes, a Barnacle Goose accompanied by ten Canadas flew north-west over Bempton Cliffs RSPB and Buckton. Two Short-eared Owls and two White Wagtails were also noted at Bempton. Additional records from Buckton included single Short-eared Owl and Jack Snipe.
