A moderate south-easterly wind, largely overcast skies, with mist and periods of heavy rain. Seawatch highlights involved 17 Wigeon, 85 Teal, a Mediterranean Gull, two Arctic Skuas and two adult Pomarine Skuas flying south; a Sooty Shearwater lingered offshore. A Bar-tailed Godwit and a Norwegian-ringed Dunlin frequented South Landing beach. RSPB Bempton Cliffs attracted 30 Blackbirds, 15 Song Thrush, one Redstart, two Whinchat, one Stonechat and a Pied Flycatcher; single Grey Plover and Siskin also flew over.
