After a bright start, the day was dominated by light cloud, whilst winds remained light. During the seawatch, four Sooty Shearwaters flew north, 280 Oystercatchers, 23 Redshank and seven Arctic Skuas moved south and 88 Sandwich Terns, eight Common Terns and four Bonxies headed in the opposite direction.
Thornwick Pools attracted 14 Dunlin, two Common Sandpiper and a Green Sandpiper, with a 1st-calendar year Mediterranean Gull at South Landing.
West of the Dykes, seven Whimbrel, four Whinchats and a Willow Tit were recorded at Buckton.
