Sunny throughout, with blustery westerly winds and a high of 20 degrees C. Most attention again focused on the sea, with notable counts including four juvenile Long-tailed Skuas, 1600 Common Terns, five Black Terns, 600 Little Gulls and two Sooty Shearwaters. Unusually, a Minke Whale fed close inshore off the Fog Station, but far rarer was the Tuna sp. that joined a feeding frenzy north of Breil Nook. Additionally, a total of 190 Pink-footed Geese went south and a Short-eared Owl flew in off the sea. The most notable record from the land related to a Jay at South Dykes.
Elsewhere, four Goldcrest and a Wheatear were at RSPB Bempton Cliffs, with another two Goldcrests along Hoddy Cows Lane.
