The weather consisted light south-westerly winds, heavy rain during the morning and sunny intervals subsequently; temperatures also increased, with a peak of 20 degrees C. Seawatching highlights included 25 Common Scoter, three Manx Shearwater and a Curlew flying south, with eight Sandwich Terns and two Bonxies heading north.
Thornwick Pools attracted a Shelduck and Teal, whilst a Common Buzzard appeared on the Outer Head and the White Wagtail remained in residence around the Lighthouse car-park.
