The northerly winds finally relented and light south-south-westerlies were a feature; after a bright start, skies clouded over and rain arrived late afternoon. Seawatch highlights included four Red-throated Divers, 415 Fulmars, 125 Manx Shearwaters, ten Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 78 Sandwich Terns, a Common Tern and four Bonxie flew north.
Thornwick Pools attracted single Grey Heron, Tufted Duck, Teal and Shelduck.
West of the Dykes, a Reed Warbler was trapped at Buckton.
