Overcast with light rain/sleet showers, a moderate south-easterly wind and high of five degrees C. Seawatch highlights included two dark-bellied Brent Geese and a second calendar-year Caspian Gull flying south while 29 Red-throated Divers moved north. The White-fronted and Egyptian Geese lingered on the outer head, where a confiding Snow Bunting was still at Cattlemere. Highlights from RSPB Bempton Cliffs included an impressive 154 Corn Buntings, three Woodcock, two Fieldfare and a Merlin.
