The dismal weather theme continued with another damp, dull, overcast day with drizzle from midday. There was a moderate south-easterly and temperature didn’t budge from 9C all day.
The biggest surprise while sea-watching was a female-type Marsh Harrier that drifted south. Numbers of Red-throated Divers was much improved with 122S and 15N, Wigeon numbered 15 and 2 Pintail also passed.
A Black Redstart was at The Fog Station and a single Chiffchaff in South Dykes. The count of 38 Curlew is a day record for the month of November.
