A day of strong southerly winds, rain for most of the day and temperatures that reached four degrees C. A Pink-footed Goose remained on the headland, whilst Thornwick Pools again hosted a single Jack Snipe. Six Fieldfares were also recorded, maintaining an above average series of records for a species that is usually scarce using the winter.
