After a sunny morning, heavy showers arrived in the afternoon on moderate westerly winds. During the seawatch, 50 Common Scoters, 113 Sandwich Terns, ten Common Terns and three Bonxies flew north, whilst seven Manx Shearwaters, five Whimbrel, nine Arctic Terns and an Arctic Skua moved south. Thornwick Pools attracted two Green Sandpipers, a Redshank and ten Dunlin.
West of the Dykes, Bempton Cliffs RSPB hosted a Marsh Harrier and a juvenile Yellow-legged Gull.
