The wind changed from light south-south-west to slightly stronger south-easterlies later, whilst sunny intervals were prevalent from mid-morning. Northbound passage during the seawatch included 156 Fulmars, a Sooty Shearwater, 136 Manx Shearwaters, a Teal, 111 Common Scoters, two Bonxies, a Mediterranean Gull, 118 Sandwich Terns, 11 Common Terns and seven Arctic Terns. Five Whimbrel flew south,with two also moving north.

Thornwick Pools attracted a Grey Heron, three Dunlin and a Grey Wagtail, whilst Buckton Pond hosted a Green Sandpiper.

Two Red-veined Darters were present at Thornwick, with five Hummingbird Hawkmoths in the area.
