A day of intermittent glorious sunshine and sudden downpours in a brisk SW breeze. The presence of migrant waders continued with single Greenshank, 4 Dunlin. 2 Little Ringed Plover, 2 Redshank and single Grey Heron on Thornwick.
Seawatching was limited with the best being a Great Crested Grebe and single Manx south in the morning plus two Manx in the evening with a Whimbrel also south in the evening.
Single Siskin on outer head and Hobby at Old Fall, plus a Hummingbird hawk-moth in outer head gardens.
