Seven Shelduck, 89 Teal, three Whimbrel, an Arctic Skua and a Bonxie flew south during the morning seawatch, while 237 Sandwich Terns went north. Sightings from the Thornwick wetlands included 41 Tufted Ducks, three Teal, two Little Grebes, a Whimbrel, five Black-tailed Godwits, two Snipe and a Common Sandpiper. Other notable records from the outer head included a juvenile Mediterranean Gull, a Hobby and 11 Yellow Wagtails.
