Light, variable winds, some sunny intervals and a high of 23 degrees C. Eleven juvenile Mediterranean Gulls flew north during a morning seawatch that also featured an Arctic Skua.

Three Quail continued to call from arable crops between Old Fall and Oceanview. Two juvenile Cuckoos were present – a single at Oceanview and another at Speeton. Passerine interest on the outer head included Goldcrest and Redpoll.

Another Quail was singing from cliff top fields at RSPB Bempton Cliffs, where a Golden Plover, a juvenile Mediterranean Gull, six Yellow Wagtails and a Minke Whale were also recorded.
