The weather consisted of moderate/strong north-easterly winds, overcast throughout, with rain arriving mid-afternoon and temperatures that reached 11 degrees C. Highlights of a morning seawatch included 17 Manx Shearwaters, 31 Sandwich Terns and 159 Puffins flying north; a Bonxie rested on the sea off RSPB Bempton Cliffs.

The run of Hobby sightings continued when a lone bird flew over Hartendale, whilst a Quail called from crop near North Dykes.
