A south-westerly wind increased throughout a sunny day, although temperatures only reached a maximum of four degrees C. During the morning seawatch, no fewer than three Black-throated Divers flew south, with two Great Northern Divers moving in the opposite direction. Away from the sea, 57 Pink-footed Geese flew south/west and the long-staying White-fronted Goose accompanied a further ten Pink-footed Geese near North Marsh. A Waxwing also visited gardens on the outer head.
