The weather consisted moderate/strong west-south-westerly winds, sunny intervals during the morning, with heavy showers, occasionally of sleet later; temperatures reached five degrees C. During the seawatch, two dark-bellied Brent Geese, 21 Wigeon and a Great Northern Diver flew south. A Whooper Swan lingered on the outer head, whilst a southerly passage of Pink-footed Geese took place late morning: a total of 438 birds headed south. The Eurasian White-fronted Goose was still present near North Marsh.

The Black Redstart was seen again at the Fog Station, with 17 Snow Buntings and eight Lapland Buntings also located on the outer head.
