After a relatively calm and bright start, an increasingly strong south-westerly wind and overcast skies developed. The flock of geese near North Marsh contained two Tundra Bean Geese, a Eurasian White-fronted Goose and one Pink-footed Goose, with 23 Wigeon also present. A flock of 33 Curlew toured the outer head, with passerine interest including two Goldcrests, one Fieldfare and a Chiffchaff. Sightings from RSPB Bempton Cliffs included two Short-eared Owls and a Lapland Bunting.
