The main feature of the day was rain; persistent and at times very heavy, along with an increasingly strong northerly wind. During the seawatch, 360 Common Scoter, a Red-throated Diver, one Manx Shearwater and a Common Tern flew north. Thornwick Pools attracted 20 Dunlin, one Snipe, a Green Sandpiper and one Ringed Plover.
