Moderate/strong northerly winds gradually abated from mid-afternoon; it was relatively sunny throughout. Seawatching highlights included four Pale-bellied Brent Geese, a Great Northern Diver, 13 Sooty Shearwaters, 41 Manx Shearwaters, a Mediterranean Gull and 60 Sandwich Terns flying north. Birds heading south included 27 Red-throated Divers, 48 Oystercatchers, 37 Curlew, 21 Bonxies and 30 Arctic Skuas flew south.
