The weather consisted of light/moderate westerly winds and sunny intervals. During the seawatch, 91 Common Scoter, 18 Manx Shearwaters, 46 Sandwich Terns, nine Common Terns and an Arctic Tern flew north, whilst a Bonxie and five Arctic Skuas were also recorded. Elsewhere, a Greenshank, 12 Dunlin and seven Snipe frequented Thornwick Pools.
West of the Dykes, a juvenile Mediterranean Gull flew north at Bempton Cliffs RSPB.
