Strong westerly winds blew throughout a sunny day, with temperatures reaching 21 degrees C. Nine Manx Shearwaters were recorded during the seawatch, along with 27 Oystercatchers heading south, whilst 30 Sandwich Terns and a Common Tern flew north.
A Green Sandpiper and 28 Dunlin visited Thornwick Pools, with five Willow Warblers in the same area. A Common Sandpiper flew south over Oceanview, with 79 Swifts moving west over there early evening.
West of the Dykes, a Wood Sandpiper flew south-east over Bempton Cliffs, where three Bonxies were recorded during the day.
