After an overcast start, the afternoon featured sunny spells, with temperatures eventually reaching 16 degrees C in moderate south-westerly winds. Seawatching was relatively quiet, although a Sandwich Tern flew north.

The juvenile Glaucous Gull loafed on fields near North Marsh, whilst a Hooded Crow on the south side of the headland was new. Single House Martin and Sand Martin were recorded, along with two Wheatears and a White Wagtail.
