30th June 2016

The day started with sunny skies and light south-west winds, although it clouded over later. During the seawatch, ten Common Scoter, 24 Manx Shearwaters and six Sandwich Terns flew north.

Birds of note on the land included a Greenshank, Green Sandpiper, Water Rail, Grasshopper Warbler and a Cuckoo. Several Stonechat were scattered around the Headland, with three pairs having successfully fledged young this summer.
