Rain from the early hours eased late morning. The light wind came from the north-west and the temperature reached 18°C.

Seawatching proved to be productive with 241 Manx Shearwaters, 552 Common Scoters, two Mediterranean Gulls and a Little Gull all logged.

A further three Mediterranean Gulls passed north-west at Bempton Cliffs RSPB. An adult Little Ringed Plover and a Redshank were at Thornwick Pools.
