Overcast skies dominated after a bright start; light/moderate south-west winds and a high of 22 degrees C. Seawatch highlights included a flock of 11 Shelduck south, a Common Tern and four Manx Shearwaters. Three calling Quail were recorded including birds near South Landing and RSPB Bempton Cliffs. The ‘resident’ Bonxie remained at the latter site.
